Assessment Framework
At SMA Auliya, we implement a balanced assessment framework that integrates both formative (assessment for learning) and summative (assessment of learning) approaches.
Formative Assessment
Formative assessment is part of daily teaching and learning. It includes classroom discussions, presentations, quizzes, and project-based tasks. These activities provide ongoing feedback to help students understand their progress and support their learning journey.
Summative Assessment
Summative assessment is conducted at the end of a learning period—such as a semester or school year—to evaluate overall achievement. These assessments are not limited to written exams; they may also include performance tasks, presentations, or other activities aligned with clear standards. They provide valuable insights for students, parents, and teachers.
Assessment Periods
At SMA Auliya, summative assessments are conducted across various subjects to evaluate student learning, conceptual mastery, and readiness for higher education. These include:
1. End of Semester & Year
Students complete summative assessments to measure their understanding and progress. These assessments include:
Cambridge Specimen Papers for:
- Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language
- Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics (Core & Extended)

2. End of School
At Stage 12, in the 2027–2028 school year, students undergo a comprehensive evaluation process to assess their cumulative learning and readiness for the next phase of education. This process is conducted through the USP (Ujian Satuan Pendidikan), covering international, national, and religious subjects.

This serves as a means to foster students who are reflective, critical-creative, and communicative-collaborative.

Discover Why Parents and Students Choose Sekolah Auliya

Alhamdulillah, this hope has finally been realized, with the implementation of the Cambridge curriculum at Sekolah Auliya starting in the 2024-2025 academic year.
The students will become exceptional individuals with the three curricula applied at SMA Auliya—Kurikulum Merdeka, Kurikulum Saleh, and the Cambridge Curriculum. Success is not solely dependent on IQ; EQ and SQ are equally important.
The collaboration of these three curricula is ideally suited to equipping students with the tools they need to succeed in this world and the hereafter and preparing them to face the changing world.

During my time at Auliya, especially over the 12 years I’ve studied here, I’ve never felt lacking in terms of facilities. Auliya always meets my learning needs according to the standards. The learning environment at Auliya is always unique and never boring, especially with teachers who are constantly innovating.
Auliya consistently improves its academic offerings, such as our current use of the Cambridge and Kurikulum Saleh, which balance character and knowledge. Even in non-academic areas, such as extracurricular activities and clubs, Auliya excels. The school also maintains a balance in bilingual education and has adopted a education model in line with global developments, including Digital Learning; we use less paper, which helps reduce paper waste. Auliya is the best!
